Alien Invasyndrome Boss Route — After Security A and B
Demo boss walkthrough: prep, phases, recovery, and clean exit discipline
Route scope
This walkthrough covers the Demo boss segment in Alien Invasyndrome after you clear Security Room Way A or Way B on Atlas. It is a route sheet for arrival timing, fight phases, and recovery — not a scene guide. All characters are 18+; adult content may appear around the confrontation; this page mentions it only as progression context, never as graphic detail.
Developer Mozu Field / 百舌鳥, publisher Shady Corner Games, Steam app 4603980. Full release TBA. Reference build: Demo 1.0 hotfix (May 2026) — no newer numbered Demo confirmed. Patch context: Version History, Changelog.
Hub: Walkthrough Hub. Prior gate: Security Routes. Fight depth: How to Beat the Boss. Full spine: Demo Walkthrough.
When to open this route
Open Boss Route when:
- Security Way A or Way B is finished, not half-cleared.
- Nest economy is banked — How to Nest, Nest Checklist.
- Desk softlock enter / exit is automatic — Stealth Actions, Softlock Fixes.
- Detection minute is respected — Stealth and Detection, Detection Timer.
- Skill plan matches your Security branch — Early Build, Skill Planner.
Do not open Boss Route as tourism from Kitchen or Clinic. The boss punishes Security residue.
Pre-boss checklist
Run at the Security exit, not after the first wipe:
- Chosen Security branch completed today (A or B, not both mid-attempt)
- No active detection spiral leaving Security
- Nest banked at least once post-Security
- INT/STR intent declared — Skill Tree, Evolution Paths
- UI readable — Locale Emulator if menus are Japanese-only
- Softlock Fixes bookmarked for camera / input traps
- How to Beat the Boss skimmed for phase vocabulary
If any item fails, abort to nest. Boss greed after a sloppy Security leave is the most common Demo end wipe.
Phase 1 — Clean exit from Security
Before the boss threshold:
- Finish Security objectives for your branch — Security Room.
- Leave on a quiet patrol cycle, not during detection penalty.
- Avoid last-second Laboratory or Cafeteria detours unless the Demo objective requires them.
- Mark a corridor abort tile in case the approach already feels hot.
Map context: Key Rooms, Atlas Overview, Decks.
If spotted between Security and boss door, softlock and wait the full ~1 minute. Do not chain into the fight mid-penalty.
Phase 2 — Approach and first thirty seconds
Treat the boss approach like Security doorway discipline:
- Scout the entry sight line once from cover.
- Confirm where you will stand when the encounter opens.
- Confirm a retreat / hide tile if the Demo gives a reposition window.
- Do not spend your best resource on the first obvious tell.
The embedded video on this page shows full Demo loop context; use it for pacing if your build disagrees with an older clip — Steam Status.
Phase 3 — Fight structure (mechanical)
Without spoiling every beat, treat the boss as phases separated by readable tells:
Open: Confirm pattern length. Players who dump STR tools immediately often lack answers when the pattern lengthens.
Mid: Stealth DNA still matters. If the encounter creates a hide or reposition window, take it. Standing in the open because “it is a boss now” is how Demo attempts clip into avoidable hits.
Close: Commit only when you have already seen the repeat. Greedy finishes after a fresh punish are common loss clips.
Deep phase notes live in How to Beat the Boss. This route page owns when you enter; that guide owns how you read each phase.
Phase 4 — Softlock recovery mid-fight
Boss segments can trap camera or character state like desk softlocks elsewhere on Atlas:
- Intended hide: wait, then exit with a peek — same logic as Vents and Cover.
- Stuck UI: stop mashing; follow Softlock Fixes.
- Locale misread: confirm prompts before calling it a bug — Locale Emulator.
After recovery, decide whether the attempt is still clean enough to continue. Restarting the whole Demo on every softlock wastes nest practice.
Phase 5 — Post-boss and Demo end
After a clean boss clear:
- Note which Security branch you used (A or B) for replay planning.
- Wishlist Steam 4603980; full release is TBA — Demo Access.
- Return to Demo Walkthrough End of Demo chapter.
- Optional second run: flip Security branch, keep nest habits identical.
Opinionated take: Demo Review. Soundtrack context: Soundtrack.
INT vs STR on Boss Route
- INT-forward: Better when Security Route A was quiet and you need disciplined windows.
- STR-forward: Better when the branch forced contact and you proved you will not panic-sprint through tells.
- Hybrid: Most Demo clears. Stealth support first, STR for forced beats second.
Neither axis deletes the detection minute. Refresh inputs on Keyboard if hide binds feel wrong mid-fight.

| Empty power curve | Nest starvation pre-boss | How to Nest |
| Tilt retry loop | Changing A/B every attempt | Pick one branch per session |

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common Alien Invasyndrome questions.
Do I need Security A and B before the boss?
You need one branch finished cleanly, not both in the same attempt. Details: Security Routes. Boss prep: How to Beat the Boss.
What if I get spotted between Security and the boss?
Softlock and wait the full ~1 minute before entering. Mid-penalty boss entries cause avoidable wipes. Use Detection Timer.
Is this page different from How to Beat the Boss?
Yes. Boss Route is the walkthrough spine after Security A/B. How to Beat the Boss is the guide-level phase and build depth.
What if the boss softlocks my camera?
Stop mashing and follow Softlock Fixes. Decide afterward whether the attempt is worth continuing.
Which Demo version does this target?
Demo 1.0 hotfix (May 2026). No newer numbered Demo confirmed. Track drift via Version History and Changelog.
