Skill Planner for Alien Invasyndrome

Allocate Stealth, Nesting, INT, and STR for one Demo session.

Skill Planner Alien Invasyndrome

This Skill Planner page is a session aid for Alien Invasyndrome Demo (Steam 4603980). Use it when your larva can already survive a short Middle-deck commute and you are about to spend early points across Stealth, Nesting, INT, and STR. It does not replace reading Skill Tree or Early Build.

18+ adult stealth-action; advice stays mechanical. Developer Mozu Field / 百舌鳥; publisher Shady Corner Games. Full release TBA.

Why plan before you spend

Demo skill menus can feel noisy. Players have reported WIP labels and odd “learn again” UI states. Planning by role avoids panic-buying after a Kitchen detect. Your first cluster should make Middle transit and nest returns less suicidal. Vanity damage can wait until Security literacy exists.

Open this page beside How to Nest if nest access is still unstable. Nesting points are wasted if every return crosses Cafeteria open floor without a commute plan.

INT and STR as planning axes

Treat INT and STR as decision labels, not lore fluff:

  • INT-leaning focus supports information, setup, quieter engagement timing, and safer nest cycles.
  • STR-leaning focus supports commit windows, pressure, and finish routes when position already exists.

Early Demo players who dump STR before silence loops usually clear one force window, then fail the next three rooms to alert pressure. Prefer INT or Stealth weight until Kitchen and Clinic peeks feel boring.

Nesting investment is its own axis. High Nest focus without Stealth often creates a colony that cannot be visited safely. High Stealth without Nest creates a ghost that never banks progress. Use the widget below to see which identity your slider mix implies.

Move the sliders for a single Demo session. Reset between runs. Exact tree names may differ by Demo version—map the focus label back to real nodes in your build.

How to read the focus labels

Focus labelMeaning in practice
Ghost infiltratorStealth leads; prioritize silent transit and abort drills
Nest-first colonyNest sliders high; protect commute before Security greed
INT control pathSetup over force; buy awareness and safer nest timing
STR pressure pathCommit tools after you can already create a window
Balanced predatorDefault mix; good until a failure mode tells you to specialize

After you lock a focus, validate spends on Early Build phase order: nest before ego, then commute armor, then one Security package.

Default widget values (Stealth 3 / Nest 2 / INT 2 / STR 1) are a sensible starting card:

  1. Stealth weight for Middle silence competence.
  2. Nest weight for a repeatable site and return.
  3. INT slightly above STR so setup beats premature commits.
  4. Minimal STR until you have a rehearsed Security A or B approach.

Log the mix, play one Kitchen → Clinic loop, then adjust a single slider. Pair nest goals with Nest Checklist. When spotted, stop spending mental energy and run Detection Timer.

Linking planner output to Atlas rooms

  • Kitchen scout failures → raise Stealth or INT, not STR.
  • Clinic desk softlocks that strand you → fix exits via Softlock Fixes before buying more Nest.
  • Lab long sightline detects → Stealth/INT and shorter peeks.
  • Cafeteria open-floor greed → Nest commute redesign, then Nest points.
  • Security A/B indecision → freeze the planner; choose a route on Security Routes first.

Practice protocol

  1. Set sliders once.
  2. Write the focus label on paper or leave the tab open.
  3. Complete nest checklist items that match the focus.
  4. Attempt one Security scout abort on purpose.
  5. Only then change the planner.

Common planner mistakes

  • Maxing STR because captures feel rewarding on video.
  • Raising Nest to 10 while nest site is still in open Cafeteria seating.
  • Respeccing the mental plan after every death instead of changing one habit.
  • Ignoring Stealth while chasing INT nodes that assume you already hold corners.
  • Using the planner as a substitute for Skills Hub reading.

Spend with a role. Confirm nodes in your Demo build. Then return to Atlas and make the same commute quieter than last run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common Alien Invasyndrome questions.

What does the Skill Planner do?

It lets you allocate session focus across Stealth, Nesting, INT, and STR and shows a focus label such as Ghost infiltrator or Nest-first colony.

Are the slider values real in-game points?

No. They are a planning aid. Exact tree names and costs can differ by Demo version—confirm nodes in your build.

Should I raise STR early?

Usually not. Prefer Stealth/INT until Middle silence loops and nest returns are stable, then specialize for one Security route.

Where do I learn the real skill tree?

Read Skill Tree and Early Build under Skills, then return here to lock a session mix.

What should I open with the planner?

Nest Checklist for site goals and Detection Timer for hide discipline after spots.
